The 22-year-old, who is joint-owned by Genoa and Inter Milan, has impressed while on loan with Bari this season and recently made his Azzurri debut against Cameroon.

Agent Davide Torchia told Tuttomercatoweb: "By now several different stories appear almost every day about Leonardo.

"I can say that Bayern are one club among the foreign ones interested who are following Leonardo, but first we need to resolve his part-ownership deal and then we'll see.

"He only has to think about finishing the season well with Bari."
