Pavlyuchenko may stay at Tottenham

03/18/2010 - London, England (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Tottenham striker Roman Pavlyuchenko is now pondering staying at White Hart Lane beyond the end of the season, even though he seemed certain to move on in the January transfer window.

The 28-year-old Russia international was poised to head to his homeland, before Spurs boss Harry Redknapp opted to keep Pavlyuchenko and allow Robbie Keane to join Celtic on loan.

Since then Pavlyuchenko has scored seven times in five games and he now sees the possibility of a long-term stay in north London.

"I'm not in a hurry to make decisions on my career - unlike last month, when I was sure I would leave," Pavlyuchenko said. "I now think only about the end of the season.

"We stand a good chance of finishing in the Champions League places, so we shouldn't waste this opportunity. We will fight for the FA Cup, too, so I will think about my future in May.

"And I'm not going to guess how many goals I'll score - let's count them once it's over."
